Nice dive pics!

Looks like a McMurdo on the 3rd pic, What's inside it?

Very sharp eye, most people wouldn't recognize the Dive Canister.:crafty: :crafty: :crafty:

Inside it is my McMurdo Fast Find Plus PLB, I call it the chicken switch :D :D :D

A pic

Cool setup:crafty: :crafty: :crafty:

I got a Standard Horizon 450 VHF but haven't carry it into the water yet.
I got a PWC flare kit that fits inside an old UK SL4 as canister inside my pocket (need to replace the flares that got burned in new years eve).
I carry a safety mirror in my left chest strap (you can see the brass snap clip below the canister in the same pic).
Also in the pocket with the flares I got a storm wisthle and pelican mini strobe cliped to a 6' Oceanic Safety sausage.
Since we dive in the open ocean as you do, each diver use an OMER Torpedo surface float (with a reel) so the captn. can keep track of us all the time, the float reel is cliped to a billyring in my lower tank strap so it won't pull me sideways while diving.

The Mc Murdo PLB is my last line of defence, it's one of those things that I wish to never use, but if Murphy strikes while in the middle of the ocean, I'm ready for him.

I love how you holstered your canister, mine is cliped with retractables to each half of the canister and inside a custom Mandy made mesh bag that is ziptied to the BP out of the way and easy to reach if ever needed.

I wonder if they screw you with the canister as they did to me, $250.00 hurt my wallet, but it was the only way to make sure that the PLB was safe while diving.

I was looking at the gecko but wasn't sure about how it performed, my limited experience with GPS was that the Magellan I once had took forever to engage the satelites and spended more time scaning the sky than giving data, that was 10yrs ago, I supose that by now systems are waaayy better than then.

As you can see I'm a gear nut as you.:crafty: :crafty: :crafty:
