We were on a 3-tank charter with Ed Robinson's yesterday and holy cow, what a day! On our first dive we saw our first ever Spanish Dancer Nudibranch at Edge of the World at Molokini. They're usually never seen during the day, so it was a great find.
Reef's End was our second dive and nearly blew our minds. We had an encounter with a pod of 5 Bottlenosed Dolphins with a baby, then at the cleaning station there were 3 large Eagle Rays just riding the current and we spent about 5 minutes watching them. Just when we thought it couldn't get better, a HUGE 18' Manta Ray came swooping in, getting close enough to look him in the eye!!! WOW, WOW, WOW!!!
Wailea Point was our last dive, and although it couldn't live up to our 2nd dive, we were treated to 3 Zebra Striped Eels, a young Congor Eel, and a Snowflake Eel, in addition to 2 Kangaroo Nudibranchs. Can't complain about that.
Looking forward to more excellent diving in the coming week.
