I saw I think 5 threads that were advertisements this evening,All by the same person, I posted and then sent a post to the board staff asking if this was allowed.

Five minutes or less they were all gone including my post.

I've had similar positive experiences, which is one reason I continue to hang around this board. Vigilance by folks like you combined with moderators' enforcement keeps ScubaBoard a pleasant, useful place. Kudos to both you and them.
