I'll start the bidding at $100.00 given nothing more than O-rings bad. I guess there is always the chance of a defective o-ring but the basic engineering looks pretty sound so long as the turret bolt is not over stressed.

Its the o-ring in the swivel. its black covered with lube and now bulging out. It was purchased at an authorized Scuba Pro Dive Store.

Well, most dive shops don't know how to service ScubaPro regs properly. If you could find someone who knows how to do it right, I bet you wouldn't have any problems with it.

But, if you really want to get rid of them, sell one to awap and then sell me the other one!

I don't see how the swivel O ring could blow unless there was 'play' in the turret. A loose retaining bolt could cause a leak and possibly even blow the ring but would imply incorrect assembly, not a design problem. I mean, if the turret ID or O ring annulus were machined incorrectly a leak would have been apparent straight away. I suppose the O ring could have been defective. Very strange. I would send the reg back to mfgr for a look.

What exactly, is 'bulging out'. Is the ring out of the groove?

Take it to Brownies and get it fixed. My 2 of the same are working perfectly. Likely yours came from factory incorrectly torqued.

Lucid, was the retaining bolt loose, IOW spun out easily? Was the washer under the bolt missing? If so, I agree with WW. However, if the bolt was snug and everything intact I would return the reg, not E bay it.
