Why does the MK25 have 5 LP ports? what would you use the fifth LP port for?

1) 2nd Stage
2) Octo
3) Power Inflate
4) Possible dry suit? (I'm assuming a dry suit only needs one LP port, is this correct?)
5) ????

Is it for technical diving? or maybe some use in cave diving?

2nd power inflator, maybe?

It more for routing choices than the idea that you might use 5 LP devices.

He is right. It makes SP regs to have an excellent double routing without a big hose benting.

Lower lp port-

The bottom port is exellent if your running doubles, and the bottom port has 20% more air flow than the rest of the ports.

jarmar:
computer wireless pressure transmiter

A pressure transmitter uses a high pressure port. The MK25 has two HP ports, giving options for hose routing or allowing a wireless pressure transmitter and back-up SPG.

That's a bit like saying choclate is 20% sweeter, icecream is 20% creamier or that maybe the weather in mid winter at the North Pole is 20% colder. The Mk 25 flows such an excess of air from any of it's ports that it is truly a 20% increase that you don't need. So don't think you have to move hoses to get better performance.
