I use it pretty often, the Kirby morgan EXO-BR as well.

I am a big fan of the AGA mask and use it for both work and play when comms are desired or not.

I have evaluated the Ocean Reef Neptune, AGA, KMDSI EXO, KMDSI M-48, SCUBA PRO FFM, Mantis FFM.

The AGA and the M-48 were my personal favorites for an all around mask.

Did you have some specific questions?

Here is some more information on the above mentioned masks:

Thanks for the link. Actually, I was just wondering if it was more usefull or practical to dive with this type of equipment. Since I'm only a recreational diver, I was asking myself if I would benefit from it (now or later with more experience).... I'm like comparing it with the "BC with integrated weights" vs "BC + weight belt" debate...

Well I suppose it depends on the person, I find wearing a full-face mask more comfortable than holding a bitepiece and I enjoy breathing through my nose instead of my mouth while diving.

I would not say it is more useful or practical in all situations but more enjoyable for some.

Some people seem to be vehemently against them but I am not sure this is based on opinions from actual use of perceived difficulties.

I put well over 200 hours a year in on them and have not had any difficulties...

I was looking at the neptune II ( 2 for search engine) and I like the price := 350 bucks!
but a lot of people tell me it is no good, yet they dont say why ... any thoughts?

Most people have no idea about it really, regurgitating statements they heard from others.

It is a fine mask for someone wanting to try full-face mask diving and communications out and a cost effective way to do it. (one note of caution though, check the OTS www.agamask.com pricelist for the AGA before you make your purchase, it is cheaper than you think - more so if you saw one in someone's dive shop...)

The strap attachment point looks like a failure point to me but I did not have any problems with the mask during testing. I would like to do a long term evaluation on one... The regulator breathes a bit harder / slower than pretty much all the other FFM I have used and to me that makes the mask less enjoyable.

Overall it is a safe and effective FFM but I would grade it on the lower end of the FFM scale
