Mitigation Reef (the Blocks)

In case anyone is interested, here is a map of the mitigation reef from 2005 off Venice Beach and South Brohard beach areas. They usually begin just past the swim buoys or approx. 100 ft offshore from the beach. #2, for example, would be straight off Venice Beach from the Pavillion.

a long time ago someone brought it to one of our club meetings (Suncoast Reef Rovers). I just thought folks would like a visual of where the blocks are located.

You're definitely right about that.
I'd been trying to figure it out for quite a while.
One of the reasons I bought a non-gopro camera was it's GPS options trying to map it out myself. lol
I really enjoy the blocks, though I only tend to visit them on the way back. Always something to see there, and there's always little consolation teeth since I didn't find that 6 inch meg I was looking for further out. /grin
