Hi everyone:
Acouple weeks ago I made the obit page in the local news paper!
I was on the 4th hour of a 6 hour snorkle speargun hunt when my ear plug started leaking.
I have tubes in my eardrums so I can only snorkle.
I swam up to shore to dry my ear and get a new seal with the plug, and decided to rest in the sun for a few minutes.
Local land owner noticed my flag and came don to the shore to yell at me, (they think they own the lake)!
Because I didn't respond he called the county police and the local paramedics, who rushed to the sean of a possable dead diver!
After my rest in the sun I began swimming again and was headed undr the guy's peer when he tapped me on the back and started yelling and waving his arms around!
I let him finish and told him I was sorry but,:rofl3: I am deaf!
I could read his lips and he said he was yelling within a foot of my head and got no response, and thought I was dead!
County police asked if I was ok and I explained what I was doing and he and the paramedic laughed and walked away.
The land owner pounded off his dock yelling and waving his arms around, I think he was mad that I was alive and going back out in( his lake )to take more fish!
