missing "sent" messages

I just noticed that my "sent" messages folder is empty, and the messages aren't anywhere else that I can find. I have not emptied the folder, and messages that I sent just yesterday aren't there. Can they be retrieved?

There is a check box that you have to check to have the system "Save Sent Messages" by default. Is that checked in your set-up? I think you do it when you are sending a message....see below.

This is what is at the bottom of your PM Edit/Create page

Save a copy of this message in your Sent Items folder.
Stores a copy of the message you send in the 'Sent Items' folder.

Indeed, that was not checked and I didn't even realize that I had to do so. I wonder if it got reset when the system was changed over? Unfortunately, all of my older sent messages (which were previously there) are gone. Bummer. At least I can keep it from happening any more. Thanks much, Steve.

You can also make that your default setting so you don't have to check the box on every PM.
