I am in Thailand and have discovered that I have forgotten the fiber optic cables which go between my camera housing and my strobes. I have an Olympus 50/50 camera and two YS-90DX strobes. Are there any camera settings that I can input which will signal the strobes to go off when the camera flash goes off? Or am I out of luck without my cables? I am fairly new at the underwater photography and still learning. Any guidance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I am at the start of a 2 week vacation and would hate to lug this around and have it be useless!

If the sensors are like my Inon's you can just leave the cables off and they will fire from the light of the internal strobe. There are 2 problems with this method, first, anyone close by will set off your strobe with theirs, no biggie, just a pain. The other problem is back scatter. I would try covering the diffuser on the housing with something (I use a piece of thin plastic) and see if the strobes will fire. You may have to play around with the strobe placement but it should work. It may help to cover the back of the plastic cover with alumimum foil to act as a reflector or ever better if you can find a small cheap mirror attach it to the diffusor some how. I use my Inon as a slave above water for my C5050 doing the above and it works fine....
Another idea just occured to me. You could also us a thin piece of aluminum or plastic to form an L shapped piece to attach to your strobe tray to cover the housing diffuser. This method is used on a lot of the less expensive strobes. Look at this picture paying attention to the piece in frount of the camera.

Something of a longshot for you, but try to locate an electrical supply store. They may carry optical fiber for communication systems. With a bit plumbers putty (for seating fawcets, etc.) or duct tape, you could make your own fiber optic.
Otherwise herman's aluminum foil reflectors and duct tape may do the trick.
