Hi all,

I tried to dive Friday at Lobos and the horrible viz and bad swells cleared all divers out, everyone called the dives.

I then went to BW with Devin aka Dhammer and we had one awesome dive past marking number 9.

I only got to complete one dive since we started late. But as we dropped down to about 40 feet it cleared up like 20+ feet.

It was about 52 degrees so it wasn't terribly cold by our standards. We saw a really huge deco crab that was the size of a small tire, yes that big.

We explored more until I finally ran my tank to 1200 PSI. We headed back and I had to urinate so bad, I was going to explode in my drysuit. I don't understand why I haven't learned to use the p-valve.

I thought I could hold it till I got back but that was a 57 minute dive and I felt like using the bathroom before I suited up, I was dumb.

I will not do that again because it was the worse feeling ever.

Yea I was looking at the swell direction and thought to myself "there goes N. Monastery" (lobos included).

Yeah, breakwater was getting bashed pretty good by the time we got out. Also saw 4 (or 5?) rainbow nudis, two of them "flying". Not sure if it was the surge that kicked them up, or the sea lions that were cruising around. It was a better than expected dive, and we saw some cool stuff. Which, of course, is a direct result of me forgetting my camera housing. (derrr)
