This weekend, we took out 5 students to do checkouts. We first went to Royal Spring on saturday, where viz was a bit lower than usual. Lots of locals around. Saw a bunch of flounders, students had a lot of fun, all are top notch, easy crowd.

Sunday, we went to Rainbow River where 2 new students were supposed to join. But, the other instructor had car trouble, and never made it. He also had the money and info on the boat that would take us up river. Well, we managed to figure out what boat and time, and got all the students on it, and we had a nice dive drifting for an hour. There is a nice family of about 30 Gar hanging out at one spot which is a really cool place to stop. I finished the students last checkout dives and they had a great experience.

No pics, since the cam appears to be broken.

Sounds like Rainbow River is pretty fun, I'll have to try the drift dive out one of these days.

Sorry to hear about the cam.
