Sunday AM charter on the Cape Ann Divers big boat. Beautiful fall morning with crisp air temps in the high 40s. Very calm seas on the 1+ hour cruise out to Halfway. Water temp a consistent 57F. Visibility was great at or below 50 feet...I would guess 20-25 feet. Only 8 people on the big CAD boat, so plenty of room. Nothing particularly noteworthy spotted, but a TON of comb jellies in the first 20-30 feet. Nice circumnavigation of Halfway.

Paddock was slightly murkier on vis (15-20 feet), although we stayed shallower, diving along the top of the "trench" on the SSE end of the rock (max depth 50 feet). Water temp was 55F. Not quite as bright underwater as clouds began to move in later in the day.

All in all a great day of diving.

Hey Chris--David here, from Philadelphia and one of your boatmates on Sunday. Beautiful day of diving, huh, even though I ended up with a soggy drysuit on the Paddock Rock dive. Nice meeting you and diving with you!
