Anyone going?

I might go this weekend.

I am signed up to dive off the Surface Interval, but if we get blown out (I think that it has been about a month since they had a dive go) I may end up in Haymarket.

Hey Hoyden,

My buddy and I are thinking about the Surface Interval on Nov 12th. What are water temps like this time of year, and how's the average visibility?

Thanks,

Szymon

Will be DMing an Open Water Class at Haymarket Sat and Sun - typically finish about 12-1 on Saturday. Will hang around and dive afterwards if you want.

About what time do you guys finish on Sunday? I can't go on Saturday. Course, I guess I could just run out there on Sunday and beg into a group.

My last dive with them was 9/18 - high 50s (57-58) at 100 ft - thermocline at about 45 ft brought the water temp up into the high 60s or low 70s. Visiblity was 20-ish feet. I'd expect the water to maybe be the sam temp or a little warmer - vis can range from 5 feet to about 40 ft - your guess as to what it will be is as good as anyone else's... It can vary from top to bottom in both directions.

As far as Millbrook, my buddy and I will make the call Sat PM on whether or not we drive to DE or stay close to home, but if we aren't on the boat Sunday, we'll be at the quarry.

Jackie,
Are you the "private charter" scheduled for Sunday? If so, what does one have to do to get in on that? I'm with Szymon and while we're diving Saturday if possible, Sunday may be a possibility too :)

Thanks,
Chris

I am scheduled for Nov 6 - it's an open choice and according to the website they have 7 slots left - Call Trish and come on down. I wish I was in on the private charter the next weekend.
