Use small diameter piece of bungee cord and tie a Constrictor Knot around the hose. That baby won't move. The constrictor is like a Clove Hitch with an extra tuck.

I have been using an O ring on the fittings and have not had any problems. Just remember to inspect your gear and replace the O ring.

Why not tie the bolt snap onto the swage or the swivel point, instead of the hose itself? The grooves will keep the line in place.
