I'm, eh, a bit reluctant to even bring this up, but hey, more fodder for the cannon. My old 6" SPG hose just started leaking like a sieve at the swage/hose fitting (thanks Ben_ca for sending me a spare!), and I've since started storing the spg untied from the reg body to relieve pressure on the hose.

The other day, I was at browsing the aisles at the LDS and noticed that they had a very thin-diameter (maybe 5mm?) 6" miflex HP hose, which has shorter swage fittings and a bending radius that is far tighter than a standard hose. I'm not a big miflex fan, and far be it from me to spend $45 for a 6" hose, but I was wondering if anyone had tried this for their stage and had any opinions? I've always been a little uncomfortable at how much bend there is in the hose, and now that I've actually seen it fail, I'm even more wary of it.

To answer my own question for the sake of future searches :shakehead::

I had a brand-new Miflex 6-inch HP hose blow away from the crimp on Sunday... anyone else had experience with this type of event? ...
