Wanted Mid pressure 72 or 80 steel tank

I have 2 mid pressure steel tanks and looking to make either or both a pair. Looking for either:

72 cu ft (rated 3,000psi, +10%=72, approx 6.75” diameter 20.5” long)
Or
80 cu ft (rated 2730psi +10%=80, 7.25” diameter and 22.5”? Length)

Both made by Faber and some were sold under scuba pro

I have a white mp72 with a new hydro and VIP, don’t have the dimensions on it and won’t be home until next week. Took it in trade for something and don’t really have any use for it, can get you the info next week if interested, it is in Jacksonville

Really? Yet another tank I didn’t know existed. I’ll keep you in mind, I prefer the short tanks but that sounds like a great size

Those MP ScubaPro (3000 psi service pressure) chrome molly tanks are heavy little buggers. I inherited one from my buddy, and the wife uses it frequently for "dive 2" following her HP80. Only problem is that she has to shorten the cam bands to use it as it is narrower than an HP80...

You might have an MP 72 there. My MP 80 is 7.25” diameter, same as the HP 80’s. My MP 80 is stamped 2730 with a + fill it’s 80.
My MP 72 is 6.75” diameter I believe, it’s stamped 3000 but have to get a +10% fill for the 72. And yes, it’s a bit of a pain to get my cam band that tight, the tag end gets long and hard to Velcro but I love how handy it is to carry
