Microdiscectomy: Post-op nerve pain.

Hello, question for those who have had microdiscectomy surgery. How much sciatic nerve pain did you have and how long did it take to fully recover after surgery?

Please someone.

I've searched this board prior to my surgery and know there's help out there.
How long does it take for sciatic nerve pain to dissipate post disc surgery of L4-L5. I still have pain on my left side in my butt/hip and back left of my calf to little toes. I can raise my leg higher (flat on back leg straight) thaN before without having that nerve pain reaction. But worry that my L5-S1 is getting worse and should have been operated on at the same time. My MRI was 3 weeks old prior to surgery.
Help me set my mind at ease please.
