I posted this in the "Shows and Events" forum, but since most of you probebly never visit there, I hope the mods will let me post it here too. It's strictly Great Lakes oriented.

Michigan Shipwreck Research Associates is hosting our annual "Mysteries & Histories Beneath The Inland Seas" on Saturday evening, May 5, 2007 at the Nickerbocker Theatre in Holland, Michigan. Tickets are available for $12.50 in advance or $15 at the door. Featured programs include:

"She Died a Hard Death: The Sinking of the Hennepin" by MSRA

"Hidden Depths: Amazing Underwater Discoveries" by David Trotter

"Discovery of Flight 4422" by Kevin McGregor

"Adventures of a Shipwreck Hunter" by Ralph Wilbanks

Craig, Thanks for the reminder. This is an event that I know I don't want to miss and encourage all area divers to come out and support! See you there.

Thanks, Jim. Ralph Wilbanks and his NUMA team will arrive in South Haven this week to begin working with MSRA to locate the wreckage of the DC-4 Airliner that went into Lake Michigan in 1950. We've been fortunate to be able to add Ralph to our show for past 2 years since he's here working with us anyway. He's a really funny guy and has done it all! The show is bound to last 2 1/4 to 2 1/2 hours again. You will certaily get your money's worth!

We also have a lot of people signing up to be members of MSRA since they get free tickets to the show, and daily email updates during the searches and invited to the post-program VIP party which will be at the Curragh Irish Pub in downtown Holland. Should be a great time! We look forward to seeing a lot of Great Lakes Wrecking Crew members at the show.
