Michigan Shipwreck Research Associates will be hosting a shipwreck event in Holland on Friday evening, May 14, 2004. "Mysteries and Histories: Shipwrecks of the Great Lakes" will feature several presentations by some of the leading experts in shipwreck discovery, documentation and education.

MSRA representatives along with Dave Trotter and Ric Mixter will be there.

For a complete list of programs, ticket information and more, see the MSRA web site at www.michiganshipwrecks.org and click on "Come See Us Live" or "Latest News" which will take you to the pdf of the invitation which you can print and mail with your $10 check to reserve a seat at this great event! Your invitation is right there waiting for you.

Hope to see you there!

If Dave Trotter and Ric Mixter are going to be making their presentations on the Frank H. Goodyear and the Edmund Fitzgerald, those two presentations are worth the price of admission alone, if you haven't seen them yet. They did a fantastic job with them at the Festival held in Feb.

Yes, dave is presenting the "Goodyear" collision story, while Ric will present his "Storms Of The Century" program which highlights many of the big storms of the 20th century including the Big Blow of 1913, the Armistice Day storm of 1940 and the Fitzgerald storm of 1975. Ric is one of only a few people who have visited the Big Fitz on the bottom of Lake Superior!

We'd also like the think the "S. S. Michigan" story itself is worth the price of admission! ;-) It's one of few Great Lakes video programs that includes a historical reenactment. We presented it at Ghostships in Milwaukee and were amazed at the overwhelming response. See you there!
