Michaelmas Cay

[El Orans]

We'll be taking a day cruise to Michaelmas Cay in March 2008 with Ocean Spirit.

Michaelmas Cay is a low lying vegetated Sand Cay encircled by a superb fringing reef; the Cay is a National Park and a protected sanctuary for migratory birds.

This thread (http://www.scubaboard.com/forums/australia/149126-day-trips-cairns.html) seems to be the most recent.

Has anybody been there recently?

Ocean Spirit is a fantastic sailing operation, excellent seafood smorgasboard, sailing home with calypso music and complimentary champagne.

Don't know yet. We'll go snorkeling or diving.
