Dear Americans

We just had a 2 hour documentary on TV called "Living with Michael Jackson" last night. I believe it is on ABC on Friday night.

I urge you to drop everyting you are doing and watch it, as it is some of the most bizarre and - in places - scary TV you will ever see!

The guy is a total fruitcake. Classic example of what way too much money will do to people.
I could not care less

The documentary was on UK TV last night (Monday 3rd). For the most part it's frankly weird. However, he's also earned his money and is entitled to do what he wants with it - but some of is behaviour is A1 wacky, loopy, total Cadbury's fruit and nut.:bonk:

But it makes a change from warmongering, doesn't it?

Unfortunately, the "warmongering" is much more important at the moment.

By the way, how does someone "monger"? Oh, excuse me, my plastic surgeon in on the phone...

from the 'Cool Words' website....

Monger [n. or v. MUNG-gur or MAHNG-gur]
A monger was once a dealer, broker, or trader in a particular commodity. This use of the word dates back to before 1000 when the English developed the word mangere (to trade) from the Latin mango (salesman). Even today, the British may describe someone as a fishmonger or cheesemonger.
However, the more widespread use of monger nowadays refers to someone who promotes a harmful activity or attempts to spread something that is discreditable. A person who is involved in something petty or contemptible is a monger. Usually the word is combined with the despicable act. Examples include: gossipmonger, warmonger, rumormonger, or fearmonger.
The verb monger means to sell or to hawk goods.

ps: hey Mech, check your number of posts...hmmm

This one should take care of that!

Thanks for the detailed example. Folks on this board are *way* too serious though :)

HEY! I resemble that remark!

is that Michael Jackson was one of the founders
of DIR. The trademark hand being held in the air
was used to hold the first 6' [later 7'] hose. The
Moonwalk was the result of the hose being caught
causing his feet to slip on the deck of a dive
boat. It was so cool that he made it part of his
act. DIFR or Doing it from the rear was his major
contribution and it is still taught and practiced
by GUE today.

Our hats are off to Mike..a true pioneer of diving!!:mission:
