I'll be on a business trip in June and would like to catch an afternoon dive with a local dive operation in Miami. Can anyone recommend a good boat that offers a guided dive?

Anyone have any experience with Scuba Miami?

I know there's better diving down in the Keys, but they offer pickup/dropoff service from my South Beach hotel, so I can still make dinner with my boss ;-)

IMHO the diving is much better up around Miami or Ft. Lauderdale then it is in the Keys. In the Keys it's very shallow except on one of the 3 wrecks they have down there and if you dive one of them chances are you'll have a VERY strong current to deal with. Not to mention that it's much more expensive in the Keys because it's mostly tourests down there. Up around MIA and FLL there are alot more locals so things are a little cheaper and there is a much bigger varity of diving. There are far more wrecks up here if that's your thing, there are some deeper reefs, the currents, while they can be strong at times, are not usually as strong as they are in the Keys and the shallow reefs are just as nice with just as much marine life as the ones down there.
