Mexican Riviera Dive Sites

I'll be cruising on the Radiance of the Seas out of San Diego on Feb. 12. I'm looking for good dive ops in Cabo, Acapulco and Ixtepa (Zihuanejo) that might pick up divers close to the ship. Does anyone have any recommendations on dive operators and sites at those locations? I've never dove in the Pacific and I'm thinking my 5 mil and hooded vest should do the trick. Anyone know what the water temps will be? Thanks for any information.

Walk off the boat and look for that guy on the dock who will have some papers in his hand and a cell phone! He is the activities pimp and all ports have one or two! Walk up and tell him what you want to do and how ask how much! You will haggle like all things Mexican! Then he will make a call and tell you to go "Over there at the end of the Dock and they will be right there" and the boat will show up and introduce themselves! Re-establish the price and let them know what type of diving you want! The water will be in the upper 70s and green! Viz might be up 40ft? There are thermoclines at 30 plus and some currents! These are the same guys you will pay twice as much for through the Cruise and you will get more personal service! Tell them what time you want to return just to confirm, but they know! I would go with a 7mm or a 5mm depending on your comfort! If you hit a cold spot the warmer the better!

I would post this request on the Mexico Forum as you will probably get more answers there. I think there are a couple of dive ops that have SB members.
