I'll be in Southern Illinois next week and would like to dive Mermet on Saturday the 12th. I'll be traveling without a dive buddy. Anyone interested in meeting for a couple dives?

That's pretty much what Glen, the owner, said when I emailed him. It's supposed to be in the 90s there on the weekend. I think I'm going to take my wetsuit and stay shallow. The thought of being in a drysuit in that kind of heat and humidity makes me dizzy.

After you go, can you post how it was. I may go there for the first time soon and good to know what others think besides the shop people. I will be by myself also, let us know how it was getting a buddy. Thanks.
