Mermaid I Bali-Komodo

Been having a look at previous posts about liveaboards in Komodo, and noticed some negative comments about the experience of the Mermaid I DMs in the area, given that they dive the rest of the year in Thailand. Since Mermaid I has been running trips to Komodo for a few years now, I wonder if this has improved. Does anyone have any recent experience of their trips?

Went with them last year & we were on a full charter...I can only say u have a lot more choices out there for Komodo...

They had 3 DMs for us, one from Indonesia, very experienced in that area, another from Thailand & the last one is the cruise manager, who is the least experienced and not flexible when it comes to customers requests!

Not sure who is managing the boat this year...
