I have just worked out how to use the macro and super macro settings on my C-8080.

That and white balance are going to take a lot of practise to use underwater.

Only one week to go before I can try it out underwater.

Correct me if I'm wrong... I don't think there's a way to use the flash with the super macro mode - is that right? I'm planning on trying some "Super Macro with HID" this weekend

I think the flash went off, not sure though. I will try it tonight when I get home.
It would be a real bummer if it does'nt as thats when we need the flash underwater.
The port on the PT-023 will block out the internal strobe today but when I get my external strobes I want them in this mode.

Will get back when I know some more.

Mike you are right, No strobe when in super macro mode.
Thats a bummer.
Not serious until I get my strobes but it does mean that it is not much use underwater.

Well I will just have to ask the wife for that DSLR, housing, 4 lenses, and strobes for a christmas present.

I am working on Nudi's!....but the people were so colorful too! My camera is telling me under properties that i am stuck in Shutter Priority mode even when shooting manual. So...now I have a new excuse for my nudibranch speed technical progress.

Catherine, I was wondering how long it would take Capt. Beal to have you pull that avatar. Another few hours and the battery first sgt. would be dealing with all the young Marines making fun of it-Now, a similar pic of you would have the opposite result.
