Hey, Caloy, did you just wing it with that shot or did you know in your mind how to pullet off?

Good thing you didn't get too close--that chicken looked like it was half-baked and on the peck. Probably pretty egg-cited, as well.

Hahahahahaha, it was just one of those walk-about shots you take when you're in a new resort. No prep done. I agree he was pretty egg-cited, you can see his hottie babe on the foreground:D

Nice sunset, Caloy. Shame, Chantal, shame shame shame on you.

Sometimes shots just sort of reach out and strike me with a "now that's nice!" It may be technical excellence, maybe perfect composition, maybe some fascinating species or bio-action, or a combination - but more often than not it's just a pleasant reaction I can't pinpoint - just a thoroughly enjoyable photo. This is one of those...
Thanks,
Rick

Very nice photos Jam and Parabolic.

Lisa: The blue whiptail lizard was about 2 feet long counting the tail. They're common on Bonaire.

Speaking of chickens (we were, weren't we?) here's a roseate spoonbill--a bird that nests in southern Louisiana each spring. Some people refer to them as "Louisiana flamingoes"

Beautiful spoonbill, Clay! Looks like he posed perfectly for you.

This is what happens when you don't dive for a while, start going through old photos...

Scrawled Filefish, love the angle on these two...

Bit of motion blur here, was a rather speedy butterfly fish...

Excellent composition with the Christmas Tree worm, Jam! I love the scrawled filefish, too. Those butterflyfish don't stand still for anything, do they? I have tons of photos of butterflyfish butts. At least you got his little face in there!
