Nice photos. I'd like to see them done B&W with only the red channel. It would darken the blues in the scene and make it much more dramatic.

Actually, both of those are 98% red channel. I just borrowed a little from other channels for roof and boat.

Hmm...maybe try adding a multiply layer for the sky then? Sort of like this? I also bumped up the contrast a bunch and I think it pops a little more. I only spent a couple minutes on it, so the halo around the mountains would need more work.

Really like the grouper portrait, the fairy basslet? beside it adds a nice sense of scale..
