Ken, lol I love the otter.
Too cute, I wonder if they're as manouverable as seals underwater :D :D.

Midwestdver, I think this last series is my favorite. I absolutely love them!

Thanks Jam. They swim differently underwater than seals and sea lions, with a much more pronounced side-to-side motion. I would say they are not as maneuverable as California sea lions (nothing is IMHO) and more maneuverable than seals (like harbor seals). Very thrilling to see them underwater.

nope. not yet. but hopefully soon. I don't know if they let people in the park before the season starts but I'm definitely gonna be there. It's been a while since I've been to a ball game.

It's one of the nicest of the new parks. I would love to see some good, long exposure shots at night with a game in progress:

Image of the moon with the disk illuminated 97 percent taken on 1 March. I was out scouting for a location where I could set up and shoot the lunar eclipse as well as take a few practice shots as this was the first time that I've shot the moon with my new camera.

Image of the lunar eclipse that occurred last night on 3 March. I've been out all day and have only had a chance to look at a few of the images. I hope that I have some better ones in the batch but this will have to do for now...

Image of the sun's ring of fire reflecting off the moon's surface. Exteme exposure but I hope that I can clean it up in PS along with the other 500 that I shot last night...

Enjoy,

Blue Moon

Jam: I love the flamingos, they are such cool looking birds.

Geryl: Those moon images are outstanding! I don't know why you don't post more of your photos, you do a great job. BTW, take any dive trips, lately?
