Hi all,

Here I am, searching for a buddy. I'm based in Williamstown, though would love to talk with divers throughout Melb who may want to try out another buddy. All my old dive mates have retired. I have registered with the local dive service and feel that this is also worth a try.

Cheers, Robert

Hi Robert,

I dive around Melbourne and am always interested in doing dive trips. I am new to diving though so don't have a great deal of experience though! I have dive in Portsea and Queenscliff mainly but am not fussed if you know better spots!

There is also this thread you might be interested in reading for buddies: http://www.scubaboard.com/forums/introductions-greets/223650-g-day-melbourne.html

I am open water qualified so dives couldn't be deeper than 18m. (In the process of getting my AOW and Deep by October). And I am not that keen on diving with a buddy that has to take a camera every time :P Involves a lot of waiting around, which is fine sometimes but not always! So if any of that suits you let me know. :)

:happywave and welcome to :sblogo:

always good to see another aussie here.. slowly we are taking over the board :D

Hi Sarah,

Many thanks for your message. I recovered your email after some upgrading sent my computer into a tailspin. Would love to talk about a dive soon. I am going down to Williamstown for a shore dive next Sunday 27 April. So far only two of us.

Have access to a tinny with pontoons for diving, and super cheap fills through the Vic Uni club.

And I don't even own an underwater camera. Yay.

Call me anytime on 0414 274 149

Regards,

Robert
