Bought some tequila on that sale, but when I checked out, the cashier tried to tell me that tequila is not liquor! It took a few minutes, but that got straightened out.
Chedraui had a straight up 25% off sale later in the week. Many times the groceries will have liquor sales around national holidays. I think it was Fathers' Day this year when Chedraui had a 30% off sale.
Next one to watch for is the anniversary of the Mexican Revolution, 20-Nov.
