See you there!
This is our special Divers Alert Network (DAN) meeting. We will have a live "Webinar". Brian Harper from the DAN medical department will be speaking to us over a live internet connection from North Carolina! It will be broadcast onto the big screen via a projector connected to a laptop with speakers attached. We will even have a webcam attached so he can see us too!
Brian Harper, EMT, DMT, joined the DAN medical department in 2007. Before coming to DAN, he taught wilderness medical courses and led remote sailing and backpacking expeditions for the Wilderness Medicine Institute and the National Outdoor Leadership School. He is a divemaster and has worked extensively with teenage divers.
Brian was first certified in 1992 and did most of his diving in the following years on the wrecks off North Carolina, his home state. He became a divemaster in 2002 and dove professionally in the British Virgin Islands for several years. His favorite dives, though, were in Belize and Australia.
