Meeting, Wednesday, January 20th at Downtown Aquarium

This month we have a special meeting for you! We have arranged a "Behind the Scenes Tour" of the Downtown Aquarium and then Dinner at Landry's Aquarium Restaurant!

We will meet at the Downtown Aquarium at 5:45 pm in the "Dive Lounge". We will have the tour and then have dinner in one of their banquet rooms. They will show us how the aquarium runs and works. You will see it as only the employees normally see it. This is a fascinating tour and well worth your time. We will have a 3 course meal with entree choices of:

Jamaican Jerk Style” Chicken​

Served with Mango Ginger Dipping Sauce , Aquarium Rice and Seasonal Vegetables.​

Macadamia Crusted Trout​

Served with Aquarium Rice and Seasonal Vegetables.​

COCONUT SHRIMP​

Coconut – Breaded Shrimp Served with Pineapple Plum Sauce and Steak Fries.​

We will pay $23.77 per person (including tax and tip).

We would like to thank everyone for the amazing enthusiasm for tonight’s meeting. We feel the tour is a great opportunity and appreciate the Downtown aquarium for opening their doors to us. Unfortunately, due to the large number of RSVPs, the Aquarium let us know this morning that they will need to charge a $3.00 per person fee for the behind the scenes tour so that they may bring in extra help to conduct the tours. We thought it only fair to let you know that you will be responsible for this extra $3.00 in addition to your meal costs.

While we regret this added expense, we can understand their position, and we still feel that this is well worth the experience. We still hope to see everyone there. However, we understand that springing additional costs on you at the last minute is unfair to our members, and we completely understand if any of you wish to cancel.

If you do wish to cancel, please send an e-mail to info@sharkbaitdiveclub.com. Otherwise, we look forward to a great time tonight at the Downtown Aquarium, and will be meeting in the Dive Lounge at 5:45.

Wow! That is quite a turnout. :shocked2:
Ron was actually up in Boulder yesterday for some meetings but he didn't think he would be out in time to join you all. Turned out he was right, meetings didn't end until after 6pm. Maybe next time he is up (he has to go up there about once a month for 2 days)
