For the grand sum of $850, I now have a great fishing boat, and a transport to Cypress springs and some (very) inshore locations!

So who's up for a Cypress trip, or maybe Ft. Pickens? Have the jellies died down?

Anyone want a 11' inflatable boat (like a Zodiac) w/ a HP air floor, for $800? I don't seem to have a need for the one I bought now!

LOL! :D

She's definately a Cypress yacht, but even the bay might put a little more water over her hull on the way to Pickens than you may like...especially with gear.

I might be up for a Cypress dive next week? maybe.

The Zodiac would make for a better saltwater vehicle, keep them both and just swap the motors for whats needed.

I gotta put her out inshore somewhere and try it out... we fished all last weekend on the local water resevior w/ 4 people onboard, however even on flat water she wouldn't fully plane with that much weight, and I did take on a tad bit of water near the back, in from the sides... I would say the boat would only be good for 2 plus gear at best in any case.

Mat, I'd be up for pulling the boat over to FL this coming Saturday, depending on your plans. Let me know.

I might have some surface dwellers with me this weekend to enjoy the spring, don't think I could coax them all into a canoe to follow us to Cypress.

Free on the following weekend?

Yeah, looking good for labor day weekend... maybe that Saturday?

Maybe, I can't commit yet, have some friends coming in to dive and I'm not sure of their plans yet.

Looks to be a fine boat! But dang I got to ask how much do you charge to clean a boat??? It looks like you could eat off it. Not long ago I cleaned mine up some and found gear that I forgot I had even some of Gary's rental gear a dive buddy had got from him. I'm still looking for the owner of a weight bag:)

Nice sea yacht. Thats what you could call it. The Sea Yacht.

I thought I'd post within the same thread instead of starting a new one. I got the rubber boat out for a test spin yesterday... what a fun boat! It's kinda "wiggly" at full speed, but I was able to plane at 1/2 throttle with two people, and could run about 25mph with one person only. It's rated for 1200lbs... takes ten minutes to inflate, and about five minutes to roll up :)
