Hi all, I am new to ScubaBoard, but glad I found this! Does anyone have recommendations about who to go to for medical based questions? I had some recent surgery and am not sure my surgeon knows enough about diving to give me a fact based answer as to when it is OK to return to diving. Thanks!!

You did the right thing by posting in the Diving Medicine subforum. I hope you get this resolved!

Howdy and welcome to Scubaboard! :admingreet:

You should get the help you need in the Dive Medicine forum.

Contact DAN. They have great people on staff and can refer you to a dive physician. They referred me to great dive ENT surgeon to do my sinus surgery.

DAN (diver's alert network) and your own physician are the places to go. Only your doctor (or a doc who examines you) can truly judge YOUR medical condition. DAN is the expert source.
