I'm not sure why the thread was posted in the first place, there was no "incident". It was a civil conversation between two rational people with a positive outcome.

Right or wrong, I've always had the attitude that offshore on a boat, the captain is God (not always a good thing because we all know some Capt. Ahabs out there.) If he wants to throw you overboard because you're hanging out of your pink speedo that's too small, you need to know how to swim.

My buddy and I were meeting with a charter boat captain who proudly declared, "Drinking on board is not tolerated. Alcohol will never go on my boat ever!"
My buddy leaned over to me and said, "Neither will I."
