Any recommendation on places to get certified? We've both always wanted to get into diving, now we have our chance.

Seconded. I did my OWSI there. Anna runs one of the best PADI shops around. They have their own salty pool right next to the shop. Its a great place to make your home. Walk up today and you can be in the water in 15 mins.

I did a lot of courses with Emerald Coast, including getting my MSD there. Excellent experiences. We snowbird in Destin Jan.1 through end of March. If you get certified and want to buddy up, PM me in December.
