Maybe time to switch camera brands - advice sought

I used to run two lenses, but lost too many shots while trying to change between them. It doesn't seem like you would, but with my 18-250 I tend to use all of both ends of that range most times when I am out shooting. For me at least the trade off in F stop and sharpness is worth if for the flexibility of one lens for everything
