sigh. 6 rolls ... great memories ... but the pics :(

the attachment was too big. deleted.

anyways - backscatter galore, just couldn't get the right focus, etc, etc.

Hello,

What is your current setup? May want to scale down that image and repost it.

i get the occasional good shot in clear water but the fixed flash and the focal length ...

i do have an F80 that has voiced a desire to take up scuba diving :devious:

sigh - and i thought this coulda been good - this is more my probelm - didn't quite get the distance and composition right. as it was, i was barely above the sandy/sedimenty floor

:( ...

pleasant encounter as we ascended a pinnacle

we musta seen half a dozen of these guys on that single dive but this was the biggest

in the middle of the picture (not that you can make it out) was either a pulsing or pom pom xenia. made me think about video for a bit. the real thing i was after is that blue smudge beside the xenia - tiny fish with a yellowish ring around the eye.

lanun once bubbled...

not wanting to rub it in.......

but that is the joy of digital photography

you get instant feed back, if it is crap you can delete it

you don't have to spend on developing unless you want to hang it on the wall.

but this is not what you wanted to hear.

what camera and set up are you using?
