Anyone that has it, how deep have you been? I keep seeing people mention shallower than 100 ft., anyone taken it deeper?

I'm not looking to go any deeper than rec limits, just curious.

Thanks!

Also, anyone used it while doing photography? I'm a little nervous about the shorter depth of the reg making more bubble issues for my view.

had one to 200ft breathed "ok" to me.
The shorter exhaust tee is a bit of a pain if you are vertical, but ok Horizontal. The tee on the Proton Ice is a little better.

But I will take my Zeagle Flatheads over it anyday

Cheers
Chris

What about upside down? :)

I end up in any and all angles doing photography stuff.

Upsidown all regs will be harder to inhale... That's just physics on where the air bubble in the reg is - holding the diaphragm up, and the physics of the diaphragm being higher than your mouth... But I have no leaking problems trying the protons in all directions... And that reg I've had to just over 140... Did fine. In a sub $200 price range, it's a good reg... Obviously, don't expect it to perform like a $400 Zeagle...

had it to 130 and it breathed fine, never taken it deeper, if i was planning on going deeper i think i'd invest a bit more in a better reg. But for rec limits it's a good reg

Yeah no argument there Larry, just looking for a good economic rig. I'll probably be getting it from you as you're right down the road from me in Dallas.
