Good news and bad news. First, the good news is that the rocks in the cove have shifted in favor of divers again. One side of Jeff's Rock is high enough to gear up and the large boulders blocking the entry/exit are gone. Also, the sandy entry near the cave is still there.
The bad news is that it may be a bit difficult to negotiate the trails, especially with a cart. Terranea will likely close the trails again tomorrow for repair.
Waves were huge today and the muddy water extends for half a mile offshore all around the peninsula.

Wow. That trail looks NOTHING like I remember it from last time I was down in the L.A. area (last summer).

If this becomes a pattern, how long before they pave it?
