We have a Marine Magnetics Explorer mag using in the Kingdom of Tonga chasing "Spanish" wrecks....the inside Pyrex Glass Bottle of the Overhasuer sensor cracked on one of the inside edges where the sensor coils are wound onto the bottle..the leaking fluid then ate the electronics....it was a US$10,000 fix plus all the handling and over two months delays out of the water with our teams sitting around..Marine Magnetics have been very helpful and I like the unit...BUT "breaks" are not under warrantee....AND..no one will say how tough it is...can you drop it from 2cm, 5cm,10cm 20cm, or??? onto the deck and expect it to survive handling, or are they worse than "eggs" and like diamonds???

Interested to see if others have had similar issues???..or weather we were unlucky???...thanks..
