Ok sorry if something like this has been posted before...

This is probably aimed at people already working in the field or have had some experience.

I am wondering what it takes or if it even possible to have a full time job as
a marine archaeologist.

I have looked into University Degrees etc, it seem like it would take about
4yrs to get a Bachelors Degree in Anthropology, and do a post graduate course.
have looked into Texas A&M, Universities in Australia(home country).

I have also found a 4part course that gives you a Diploma of Maritime Archaeology.
would this diploma be able to gain employment.

I'm no history buff, but i would like to be out there helping discover lost secrets etc.

Where can you find work, can you live comfortably off the wages... etc etc...

Or is it more of a hobby, something to do on dive holidays...

any info or comment appreciated ...
