I also found them very hard to load while in the water--had to practice dumping them in my OW class. Seems that a hard weight in the pocket might be a bit easier to load--as it retains it's narrowness. The SeaPearls kept expanding to fill the pocket and created a lot of friction between the outer pocket and the inner pocket. So, when I buy weights for my pockets, I'll buy good old lead--but for my trim pockets, I'll use shot.
