Question Mares SXS as primary? Anyone dive this?

I saw the Mares SXS mentioned on Scuba Diver Mag’s YouTube channel and I’m intrigued by its compact size. I travel for all of my diving and something compact like this just seems so convenient. I also primary donate, and the side exhaust seems like a perfect use case for this since it doesn’t have a “right side up”. The compact size also seems like an alternate reg would fit nicer under the chin on a necklace.

I was wondering if anyone here on SB has one or has tried one and what their thoughts are about it.

I use it for my classes when I teach in Monterey and my wife uses it as a travel reg. It dives regularly. The only complaint it makes a funny sound when not in water when breathing off of the second stage. Great piece of kit.
