The New Puck Pro Plus

Looking at buying a new dive computer. Seems that there is a new version of the puck pro called the puck pro plus.

However, I can't seem to find it anywhere in the states. SimplyScuba has them, but won't ship to the US.

Has anyone heard of the new plus version and why it doesn't appear to be available anywhere locally?

Found out why international sellers are having a hard time shipping to the states; lithium ion batteries.

Seems unreasonable considering everything electronic now has this type of battery.

Call Leisurepro. They will be able to get it. What is probably happening, especiailly with the similar price, is that Mares is transitioning out the Mares Puck Pro with the Mares Puck Pro Plus. I would not be surprised if in a few months people ordering new Mares Puck Pros actually get sent Puck Pro Pluses. When something like this happens it usually takes a while for online websites to updates pictures and descriptions.
