Mares Prestige 22NTT and NITROX???????

I am a newly certified diver and have began to acquire my own gear. I have heard many great things about Mares and have purchased super channel fins, x-vision liquid skin mask, and a prestige 22NTT reg and prestige octo. My question is that as I have researched more I see some sources that say that these regs are not NITROX compatible and some sources that say they are. Can someone please help me clear this up. I do not want to pic up non-upgradable gear. Thanks for the help.

they are fine for nitrox up to 40% which is rec limit for nitrox. they would need to be o2 cleaned to use above that with diffrent o rings.

Would the same be applicable to the Mares Prestige 12S? The Mares site (when logged on for North America) says all their regs are ready out-of-the-box for up to 40%, but LeisurePro specifically lists the 12S as "Nitrox compatible: No." I recommended this reg to my dad, and he was worried that it can't be used with Nitrox.

perfectly fine for nitrox out of the box at 40% in europe they use a diffrent fitting for nitrox but here in north america its fine for nirtox.
