I have owned a Nemo Titanium for about 4 years now and have generally been very happy with its performance.

However on a recent trip to Sudan it started to do some strange things towards the end of some of the dives.

Everything appeared to be fine until after some of the safety/deco stops at either 5 or 3M. Upon surfacing the computer would sound its alarm continuoulsy until leaving the water. This WAS not caused by fast ascents or missing deco stops!

After one dive all the memory , except the long term memory, was lost.

After a number of the longer dives dives (90 minutes plus) incorrect dive times would be shown in the log. Sometimes the computer would lose upto 15 minutes of time time!!!. However under the water everything worked/ was displayed fine.

The only thing different from trip to previous tripss was the water temperature which was up to 32 degress

Has anyone experienced this sort of thing before with a Nemo.?

Anton,

Symptoms sounds strange, and leads me to think the battery is failing. I suggest you take it to an authorized Mares dealer for servicing.

Best regards,

Zak

The battery is fairly new and on the pre dive check shows at the '57' mark. However I agree probably best to get it checked out.

Thank you

send it back to mares. they will have the techs look at it and do a pressure test on it to see what is wrong.
