So when I bought my mares vector I read about all the reviews on the crappy design of the integrated weight system, which after using for 10 dives I realized, but it worked.

Well yesterday, I lost one while diving.

I was going to order a replacement, but wanted to see if anyone has heard or seen some kind of DIY fix, or maybe a replacement system that uses velcro or something

I apologize if this is the wrong forum

Michael

I have the MRS and so far it's held up... I carry 22lbs of weights so to make it a bit safer I put only 5 lbs in the MRS, 5lbs in the BC pockets and 2lbs on my tank. 10 lbs in the MRS pockets didn't seem like it would hold up..at least I wasn't comfortable with it.

Thats a good idea, I did have 7 pounds in the pocket, well 4+3, maybe weighting it less would make it less prone to coming out

I was just showing the one that is on my BCD because I know Mares has a velco-pull release system, which is the one I wish I had, but don't.

I was looking to see if there was any Mod, whether it be DIY or aftermarket for the style I have that would greatly decrease the chances of me not loosing weight pockets
